Frequently Asked Questions
How many lessons should a learner have?
Each individual learns at a different pace, no experiences are the same. Some learners take to driving quite easily and quickly, others take a little more time and TLC! If you are in the first category it might only take a few lessons to begin with and then a check-in periodically thereafter provided you are able to practice with a supervisor between lessons. Anxious drivers might take a little more coaching to build their on-road confidence so therefore a few more lessons might be needed.
Can I book lessons just before my test and not worry about lessons at the start?
This is not a great strategy. Our goal is to ensure safe driving habits are built from the start of L’s so best to get professional advice at the start then build from there so by the time you are close to P’s these habits should be well developed. Having lessons towards the end of the learning journey does not necessarily allow enough time to practice safe driving skills before going solo.
I can’t parallel park! Can you help?
Don’t stress about this! Your main focus should always be on practicing safe driving skills on the road. We do cover reverse parallel parking in lessons when you are ready!
